ATTENTION SPECIAL CRIME WATCH NOTICE

Plano Police have a suspect in custody for mail and identity theft involving a resident of Preston View. Mail was stolen and a credit card account was opened in the Preston View resident’s name. Three airline tickets were charged to the account. The resident was notified by the airline of suspicious activity and the resident then filed a complaint with the Postal Service. A search warrant was served on a suspect and multiple bags of mail from Plano, Richardson, and The Colony were recovered. There are currently 356 claims against this suspect.

If you suspect that you have had mail stolen (ie. missing bills, lost checks, etc.) contact the Plano Police Department with the information listed below. Neighborhood mailboxes may have had mail stolen from them during the first week of June.

New Gate and Lock for the Pool

A new gate is being installed at the pool that will have a numeric keypad lock instead of the key lock.  To get the pool code, you'll need to be a registered member of our website.  You can log in to the website and access the resident directory.  The pass code for the pool entry gate is listed under Pool Gate Code.

Become a Member

Please register on the website if you are a member of the Preston View HOA.  By doing so, you will receive the latest neighborhood news delivered to the email address that you provide.  If you are already a registered member, please encourage your neighbors to do so.  By having an efficient way of communicating to each of our members, we can distribute important information much faster - which may be very important.  For example, we distribute information about recent crime activity in and around our neighborhood.  This information is time sensitive.

 Stop the Plano Insider!

Many of our members receive the Plano Insider newspaper, whether they want it or not.  In many cases, these papers pile up in yards and on doorsteps.  This makes our neighborhood look trashy and it may signal to a would be burglar that the resident is not home.

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR NEWSPAPERS.  If you do not want to receive the Plano Insider, call their circulation department at 972-424-9504 or email them at customerservice@acnpapers.com.  Include your address on any correspondence.
